Can-Am X3 Rear Knuckles - 6061 Billet Aluminum, Double Shear, Sealed Bearing Carrier (Sold in Pairs)

⚔ 6061 BILLET ALUMINUM | DOUBLE SHEAR MOUNT | SEALED BEARING CARRIER ⚔

Stop Waiting for Your OEM X3 Rear Knuckles to Fail — Upgrade Before They Do

Stop running OEM rear knuckles that are known to wallow out and crack under hard use. The Black Ops Machine Can-Am X3 Rear Knuckles are machined from 6061 billet aluminum with a double shear mount for maximum rigidity, a sealed bearing carrier to keep mud and water out, and a hard anodized black finish. Sold in pairs — the only correct way to replace rear knuckles.

⚔ IN STOCK | Ships Fast

Why X3 Riders Choose the Black Ops Machine Rear Knuckles

  • 6061 Billet Aluminum – Machined from solid billet — not cast — for superior strength, consistency, and resistance to the cracking and wallowing that plagues OEM knuckles.
  • Double Shear Mount – Two attachment points to the spindle instead of one — dramatically more rigid and resistant to failure under hard impacts. If one mount cracks, the other keeps you moving.
  • Sealed Bearing Carrier – Keeps mud, water, and dirt out of your wheel bearings — extending bearing life and eliminating one of the most common causes of knuckle-related failures.
  • Hard Anodized Black Finish – Corrosion-resistant, scratch-resistant, and looks aggressive on any X3 build.
  • Sold in Pairs – Always replace both rear knuckles at the same time — that's how we sell them and that's how they should be installed.
  • Replace Bearings at the Same Time – When installing new knuckles, install fresh bearings — it's easier and extends the life of both components.

Why Double Shear Beats Single Shear — And Why OEM X3 Knuckles Fail

OEM Can-Am X3 rear knuckles use a single shear mount — one attachment point between the knuckle and spindle. Under normal use this is adequate, but under the lateral forces and hard impacts of aggressive off-road riding, that single attachment point becomes a failure point. The knuckle can wallow out around the mount over time, or crack outright on a hard hit. A double shear design adds a second attachment point, distributing the load across two interfaces instead of one. The result is dramatically more rigidity and a much higher threshold before failure — and if one mount does crack, the second keeps the knuckle attached so you can get back to camp. The sealed bearing carrier addresses the other common failure mode: contamination. OEM knuckles allow mud, water, and grit to reach the wheel bearing, accelerating wear. The sealed carrier eliminates that path entirely. When replacing knuckles, always install fresh bearings at the same time — it's easier with the knuckle off and ensures both components start fresh together.

Real Riders, Real Results

"Cracked an OEM rear knuckle at KOH and limped back to camp. Put these on before the next race and haven't had a single issue. The double shear design is immediately more confidence-inspiring than stock. Worth every penny."
"The sealed bearing carrier alone is worth the upgrade. My OEM bearings were constantly contaminated from mud riding. Two seasons on these knuckles and the bearings are still clean and tight."
