Why 1.5" Is the Right Width for Your Pro R / Turbo R

Wheel spacer width is a balance between performance gain and suspension stress. Too narrow (under 1") and the stance improvement is minimal. Too wide (over 2") and you start adding meaningful stress to ball joints, wheel bearings, and CV axles. The 1–2" range is the validated sweet spot, and 1.5" sits right in the middle. Always install in pairs on the same axle, torque to manufacturer specs, and re-torque after the first ride. Note: on some Polaris models the lug nut may extend slightly past the stock stud — this is by design and maintains full thread engagement for safe fastening.
